Carole Weatherby (my mom)'s Shortbread cookies

Ingredients

• 1 lb butter, softened
• 1/2 cup cornstarch
• 3 cup flour
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Whip butter and add all dry ingredients & mix thoroughly.

Drop by teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 degrees F until cookies are a pale brown.

Yields about 3 dozen cookies.
