The Shop Furniture Repair

Move to Florida recently and have your furniture damaged en route? Live through that last hurricaine down there but the same can't be said for the family antiques? Can't find the right style of table for the Florida (ahem) room? Well! You need to contact The Shop Furniture Repair. Click now. Yes, now. That's right, now. What's that? The contact for Palm Beach County has the same last name as I do? Coincidence! Pure coincidence! Certainly not my sister Mary. No sir. And we don't look alike, either!

Anne Mendelson

Jorj's aunt just completed the biography of Irma Rombauer and Marion Rombauer Becker, the authors of The Joy of Cooking. Stand Facing the Stove is available in stores now. She has written for Bon Appetit and currently writes for Gourmet ("The Cookbook Shelf") and the Los Angeles Times. It is a thouroughly researched book many years in the making. You can order the book on line through Amazon books. Borders carries it in the cookbook section of all places, not biography.

Family gossip has it that Julia Child loved it.

Allyn Miner

One of the premier sitar players in America, Allyn's homepage may contain information about performances.

The pitter-patter of little...wheels?

Name: Saturn SL
Date: 26 February, 1997
Weight: 2,320 lb (1050 kg)
Length: 180 (450 cm)

Little Vroomie is a Saturn SL, which means four doors, five-speed transmission, realiable and inexpensive. Little Vroomie (or Vroomie for short) would be perfect in bright red (or purple), but Saturn only makes SCs (the sporty models) in bright red (and purple).

We bought our Saturn from Kevin Kneible of Saturn of Jenkintown (Pa.) Kevin is a really nice guy, who, really, did not give us any pressure. (We also looked at Toyotas at Sloane Toyata in Glenside; ask for Larry Miller.)
