Suzy's wedding cake

I could not have done this without Tobi and Jorj. They wouldn't let the nervous, clumsy person tier and move the cakes. Tobi's idea was to use the long cake knife under the cake circles to refine the positioning of the layers. At Jorj's suggestion, they also used the long dowels like a stretcher to shift the layers.
Placement and arrangement
First, you can clearly see the color differencein the bottom layer (frozen icing, Martha you lying ...). I substituted the earlier, frozen cakes for the top, because the icing color was yellower. Not intending to display these, I needed to smooth the icing to
Smoothing icing
The petals flowed from the figures across the table. The silver leaves hid the seperation between the cakes. I really should learn to pipe.
