Cyn-Cin

Another Negroni variation, first suggested to me by my friend and amateur bartender, Gabe, one of three people in Philadelphia that could mix a Negroni at the time. The Cyn-Cin substitutes artichoke-based Cynar for Campari, and is sweeter and less medicinal. Traditionally, the vermouth should be Cinzano (get it?).

  • 1 ounce gin
  • 1 ounce Cynar
  • 1 ounce Cinzano or other red vermouth

Stir with ice for 20 seconds and strain into a cocktail glass.
