Sidecar

Very traditional, and very tasty. The brandy and sugar syrup put it on the sweeter side, but it's balanced nicely by the citrus of the Cointreau and lemon juice.

  • 1 1/2 ounces brandy or cognac
  • 3/4 ounce Cointreau
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/4 ounce sugar syrup

Shake over ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Savor, then hop onto your motorbike to see the world.
